Williams Sisters (2023)

The documentary Williams Sisters traces the journey of two of the most legendary sports stars of our time: Venus and Serena Williams.

Never before has a surname been so synonymous with the sport of tennis. Few players will ever achieve the heights of the famed duo, who dominated the game for over three decades, winning every title imaginable. With 14 Grand Slam titles and three Olympic gold medals as a doubles team, and 30 combined grand slam singles titles, winning almost seems like second nature for Serena and Venus. From inexperienced teenagers to seasoned vets, nobody could have predicted the sisters’ careers - or could they?

The 53-minute documentary is directed by Ben Sempey, who’s directed biographical documentaries like David Beckham: Infamous, Novak Djokovic: Refuse to Lose, and Samuel L. Jackson: Did I Stutter?

Also watch the Oscar-winning film King Richard on Showmax.
